Tasked with overseeing the operations for the Salt Lake Ice Sports Complex, the official training venue for Figure Skating & Short-Track Speed Skating, meant a dream job and an entry into Olympic Games operations. I was responsible for ensuring sport and venue planning and operations ahead of and during the 2002 Olympic Winter Games. Integrating the planning of the venue and sport teams and engaging with external stakeholders and volunteers to ensure a cohesive operation during the Games was the primary aim of the project.
